Netflix is set to release Volume 2 of Season 4 at midnight on July 1, just one month after Volume 1 debuted. For the first time, Stranger Things Season 4 The popular science fiction series is being divided into two volumes in an effort o get the new episodes of the most important things to do out to fans as soon as possible.

Netflix has dropped a few early images from the long-awaited last two episodes of Stranger Things Season 4, which are set to hit streaming on July 1. The first batch of Stranger Things seasons 4 episodes have been released for two weeks now, and we are almost over that massive reveal about Vecna (open in new tab) closing the seven-episode run. The first seven episodes of season four debuted on Netflix a couple of weeks ago with volume 1, and while we are sliding toward the halfway mark between those episodes and the last two, the streamer has released six new images for volume 2. Netflix debuted the first seven episodes of Season 4 on May 27, almost three years after Season 3s premiere, but the new season is going to be divided into two parts for the first time in the series' history, meaning fans will have to wait to see which beloved characters will still make it to the end of the season.

Seven episodes of the new season are now available for streaming on Netflix, but fans will have to wait three more weeks to see it wrap up. While the eventual wait is longer than this massive finale reveal, Volume 2 is coming pretty quickly, which is in keeping with other shows on Netflix which split seasons into two parts. Volume 2 is set to hit Netflix on July 1, five weeks after the volume 1 premiere, so you might want to keep your momentum going as you work through these first seven episodes. The finale is set to arrive at midnight Pacific time on Netflix on July 1, five weeks after Volume 1 debuted this past Friday.

The last two episodes are scheduled to hit midnight PST on July 1, in time for Fourth of July weekend binge-watching. Considering, once again, that the last two episodes are almost four hours in length, there should be ample time for characters to do awesome things and just hang out as Volume 2 arrives on July 1. The two episodes will be released on July 1, and they are almost four hours in length: Episode 408 is an hour, 25 minutes, while its conclusion, Episode 409, is going to clock in at an impressive 2 hours, 20 minutes. The finale, called "The Pilgrim," will run for an impressive 2 hours, 19 minutes, with similar film-sized dimensions as Episode 7. Each of the only two of these episodes will be, as one of them, Jason Bateman, once said, supersized: More akin to feature films than to mainstream TV. Episodes eight and nine constitute Volume 2, and are *full* feature-length (85 minutes and 2.5 hours, respectively). That is not much, but we get some tantalizing hints about what is coming up over the last couple of super-sized episodes. If you are looking for any major hints, well, a few of the recently released images do not tell us much beyond that.

The streaming giant has released half a dozen new stills from Volume 2, and they, well, fail to capture the drama that Volume 1 Volume 2 established. Netflix dropped a batch of photos from Volume Two Tuesday morning, which you can see in the Instagram carousel below. To keep everyone excited, Netflix released a new Volume Two trailer that promises an emotional conclusion to what is still one of the bleakest seasons for this hit series. To hold everyone over, Netflix has released a new trailer for Volume 2, which promises a thrilling conclusion to the blockbuster show sindarkestthe season yet. Netflix is taking a page out of the Ozark playbook by expanding Stranger Things season four to two parts - sorry, volumes - meaning fans are going to be waiting just a little bit longer for that definitive, real, We-MEAN-It-This-Time-Ends-This-Time finale.

The forthcoming fourth season of the American sci-fi horror drama TV series Stranger Things, entitled Stranger Things 4, is scheduled for a 2022 worldwide release, exclusive on Netflix's streaming service. Of course, there is a fifth season (eventually) coming, and Netflix is celebrating both its fourth-season and Stranger Things volumes with an entire Thursday, "Geeked Out" week, 2022, dedicated to the series. Thursday's edition of Netflix's Geeked Week festivities is all about the Stranger Things 4 universe, featuring a new post-show featuring the cast and creators cast and creators, as well as an all-new Dungeons & Dragons session featuring cast members that comprised The Hellfire Club from season 4. Volume 1 debuted on Netflix on May 27, almost three full years after Season 3s July 2019 release.

Volume 1 is comprised of the seven scariest (thank you, Vecna), most thrilling moments in the whole sci-fi series, picking up just months after the shock events of season three's finale. Season four was not only the first season to receive a two-part outing, but it was the longest one so far, featuring nine episodes, which were each more than an hour in length. The eighth one will clock in at 85 minutes, and the final season finale is going to approach two-and-a-half hours. If we are going by Stranger Things episode lengths on average, Volume 1s gives us three episodes of content to wrap up the oversized season.

Season 4 of Stranger Things is said to cost $30 million per episode, making it one of the most expensive TV shows ever made (though Netflix has not confirmed this).

Stranger Things Cast

You never know what will happen when a popular show adds new members to their ensemble, but in the case of Stranger Things cast, this has been quite the treat thus far, like when Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery joined the gang in Season 2, or when Maya Hawke came aboard in the following season.

The guests on "Beyond Stranger Things" are cast and crew members of Stranger Things, including The Duffer Brothers and cast members of the show, discussing the development and behind-the-scenes production of the show's larger mythology.
Before we cry in our Stranger Things ice cream boats, let us keep in mind that Finn Wolfhard (Mike) is a cast member, not a producer, and the Duffer brothers may say different things about the same topic. Or, this might imply that Finn Wolfhard (Mike) does not actually know the answer, and therefore only gave an unclear response, knowing he is not allowed to give away this sort of thing, even though he does.

Star actor David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper in the series, has spoken out recently about his fellow star cast member. Star David Harbour, (who is also seen in the TikTok video trying to convince Wolfhard to Ignore Oswalt's comments,) recently spoke about his castmates. We now all know David Harbour is returning to play Hopper, as well, despite this tragic ending of Season 3.
